When Loyde showed up at his kind rescuers doorstep, they instantly recognized something was terribly wrong with the stray cat—his tail was severely injured, with the skin and fur stripped away.

In pain and unable to fend for himself, this sweet stray needed urgent help. Thankfully, he was rushed to safety and into our care. Loyde was in desperate need of surgery to amputate his tail and relieve his pain, along with pain medication and neuter surgery to prepare him for a brighter future.

Through it all, this loving boy continues to show his remarkable spirit. He adores people and will nudge his head into your hand, purring loudly for attention.
