Medical Emergency Fund for Weasley kittens
Five tiny souls found abandoned in a park. George, Fred, Charlie, Percy and Ginny all suffered from severe upper respiratory infections, their poor eyes crusting over, and lice crawling all over, they needed urgent help.
Thankfully, their kind rescuer rushed them to us for the care they desperately needed. Underweight and dehydrated, the kittens required several days of fluids. Their medical team started the kittens on daily antibiotics, eye ointment, and three rounds of parasite treatments along with baths. Poor Ginny was in the worst shape. Her infected eye was close to rupturing, so she was given pain medication to keep her comfortable. Once she gained enough strength, Ginny underwent surgery to remove her eye.
We don’t know where George, Fred, Charlie, Percy and Ginny came from, but we do know they’ve already been through a lot in their short lives. These brave kittens have come a long way from the frightened, sickly group that first arrived, and they as they continue to heal, we can’t wait to see more of their adorable purrrsonalities shine through. Could you share your love with this tiny crew today and help them live the healthy, happy lives they deserve?
Personal updates for these little guys will be provided to anyone who donates towards their care.
*Goal includes: Antibiotics, fluids, x-rays, eye enucleation surgery, spay/neuter surgeries, medications and daily care for the Weasley kittens until they are ready for adoption. If funds raised go above and beyond the needs of these kittens, your kind gift will help the next animal who needs urgent medical care.
