This senior queen needs your loving kindness to live out her golden years pain-free.

Sophie arrived with a painful mouth, requiring oral surgery to remove four teeth and thoroughly clean the rest. Because she’s eleven-years-old and overweight, her medical team conducted bloodwork to ensure she is healthy enough for anesthesia. While Sophie is healthy enough for her surgery, her medical team discovered she has stage one kidney disease. Thankfully, this has not negatively impacted her health yet. Sophie will need a dedicated adopter when the time comes who will keep her on a special diet and bring her for regular vet checkups.

Sophie loves to laze in the sun or cuddle up next to her person. She’s especially fond of lying on her back, hoping for her next belly rub. With you by her side, this one-of-a-kind lady has many happy days ahead.

Personal updates for Sophie will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
