Medical Emergency Fund for Lulu

Left abandoned in a trailer in a horrific state, Lulu needs a lot of love and medical care so she can heal.

When Lulu was discovered, her kind rescuer couldn’t even tell her front from her back. The senior Lhasa apso’s body was covered in dense matting, and she was caked in her own filth, the smell was indescribable. To provide Lulu with relief, she would need a sedated shave to remove the thick, painful coat that was pinching at her poor body. Once all of that matted, messy fur was gone, raw and irritated skin was revealed. Her ears are badly infected and require medication. Lulu’s mouth was full of decaying teeth, needing oral surgery to ease her discomfort.

Understandably, Lulu’s trauma has left her extremely sensitive to human touch. With medication to ease her discomfort and the slow, gentle approach of staff and volunteers, Lulu is starting to come around. This sweet girl has been through so much, we’re taking it one day at a time. Will you open your heart to Lulu and help her heal?
