Medical Emergency Fund for Hunbun
It’s heartbreaking to imagine the fear and pain poor Hunbun endured. At just 7-weeks-old, the tiny kitten was discovered critically injured on the side of a road. It’s a miracle he was found in time.
Thankfully, this little guy was spotted by his kind rescuer in time and rushed to us for care. Due to his condition, Hunbun was taken to the vet immediately. His medical team found he suffered a fractured femur and was put on pain medication right away. Unfortunately, in the days that followed, Hunbun’s leg began to swell with fluid and his vet determined an emergency amputation was necessary. Now, this resilient kitten is in a foster home, working on his recovery and adapting to life on three legs. Once he’s healed and grown a bit more, he’ll be neutered.
Even when he was dragging his broken leg behind him, Hunbun still wanted to play. He’s a sweet, affectionate kitten who loves to rub against his foster dad’s beard.
Hunbun deserves a fresh start at life. Will you donate towards his treatment and care today?
Personal updates for Hunbun will be provided to anyone who donates towards his care.
*Goal includes: Emergency vet care, amputation surgery, medications, neuter, and daily care for Hunbun until he is ready for adoption. If funds raised go above and beyond the needs of Spud, your kind gift will help the next animal who needs urgent medical care.
