Medical Emergency Fund for Joey and Jeffery

Joey and Jeffery came to the BC SPCA at a time when they needed care the most. During their intake exams, it quickly became clear that these old boys needed urgent medical attention.

Both suffering from severe oral disease, and Joey also had several concerning lumps and bumps. Once under the care of their medical team, they underwent x-rays, lump testing, and bloodwork to help determine the treatment they needed. Jeffery had significant tooth decay and urgently required surgery to remove all but two of his teeth. Joey is awaiting oral surgery to remove several loose teeth and remove a concerning lump.

Both Joey and Jeffery really light up every room they enter. Deeply bonded, they’ve been enjoying life in their foster home while recovering. They love going for walks and spending time outdoors, especially relaxing in a sunny patch of grass.
