Medical Emergency Fund for Kerry

This sweet, gruff-looking gentleman has been through a lot in his life. While we don’t know exactly what Kerry’s past looked like, it’s clear that life wasn’t always kind to him.

Kerry came to the BC SPCA after being found struggling alone outdoors. Covered in scabs and scars, and suffering from significant hair loss and painful skin lesions, he was in rough shape. Not only was he itchy and uncomfortable from head to toe, but several fractured teeth had left exposed nerves, making something as simple as eating painful.

Despite everything, Kerry has shown us just how resilient he is. A quiet, stoic soul, Kerry patiently accepts the care of his shelter family. With medicated baths, gentle moisturizers, and lots of TLC, his skin is healing, and day by day he’s becoming more comfortable.

While his skin continues to improve, Kerry’s painful teeth still need attention. He has been neutered, and oral surgery is now the final step in his recovery. This procedure will relieve his pain and help him finally enjoy life the way every cat should.

Kerry is ready to leave outdoor life behind and settle into the peaceful indoor retirement he deserves. Will you give him the chance to leave his painful past behind and begin the happy, comfortable new chapter he’s been waiting for?

Personal updates for Kerry will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: Oral surgery, medicated baths, medications, neuter surgery, and daily care for Kerry until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
