Medical Emergency Fund for Titan

Brought in as a stray, staff quickly learned that Titan is a big softie who had been struggling alone with a serious injury.

The young shepherd mix was taken to the vet when staff noticed he was often reluctant to put weight on one of his legs When standing, he would stretch the leg out to avoid putting pressure on it. X-rays revealed a cruciate ligament injury, and Titan soon underwent specialized surgery to repair the damage so that he could run comfortably again. As he recovers, Titan needs medication to keep him comfortable and support him through his recovery, as well as treatment to help manage his anxiety.

Now, Titan requires weeks of specialized care and strict rest in a foster home as his body heals. He’s making the most of the extra attention, soaking up every cuddle he can get from his caregivers. Despite his size, Titan is convinced he’s a lap dog and wants to be as close to his people as possible. After everything he’s been through, he’s still learning that it’s okay to be on his own, but with patience, love, and time, his confidence is growing every day.

Your kindness today can help Titan heal in comfort and move one step closer to the bright future he deserves. Will you be there for him?

Personal updates for Titan will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: TPLO surgery, x-rays, medications, and daily care for Titan until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
