Medical Emergency Fund for Artie
Artie arrived in rough shape after spending far too long on his own outdoors. The 7-year-old feline was battling inflamed eyes, blood in his ears, and wheezy breathing.
Once under the care of his dedicated medical team, they found Artie was suffering from a respiratory infection, parasites, hair loss, and discomfort in his mouth. He was started on antibiotics and parasite treatments, and a special diet to help his skin. After weeks of medication, his infection cleared, and Artie was ready for an oral surgery. Twelve painful teeth removed so he could eat comfortably. He was also neutered during the procedure.
Now on pain medication and a strictly soft food diet, Artie is starting to feel better. He is one of the messiest eaters his caretakers have ever seen—always needing a mat under him and a face wipe afterward. Despite everything he’s endured, Artie has embraced indoor life and all the comfort, care, and affection that come with it. He loves demanding cuddles from his humans, and chatting their ear off.
Could you share your heart with this special boy today to help him fully recover?
Personal updates for Artie will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: Oral surgery, medications, special diet, neuter surgery and daily care for Artie until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
