It was clear the moment Peppo arrived that he needed urgent care.

The sweet senior smelled strongly of infection and was suffering from bleeding gums and missing teeth. Under the care of his medical team, Peppo was started on pain medication to ease the discomfort in his mouth. He underwent an oral surgery to remove several teeth and clean the remaining ones. Now recovering on antibiotics, pain medication, and a strict wet food diet, Peppo is already beginning to feel better—even if his cheeks are still swollen from surgery.

Despite everything, Peppo is an easy-going, affectionate guy who starts purring the moment he sees you. He loves a good nap and has quickly become a staff favourite.
