Medical Emergency Fund for Gulliver
After being hit by a car, Gulliver was left with devastating injuries. Thankfully, a kind member of the public saw him, and rushed him to a nearby vet for emergency care.
His medical team carefully looked him over and took x-rays. They discovered his lungs were bruised from the impact, and his lower jaw had broken. To repair the jaw, Gulliver needed surgery to attach a wire to hold his jaw in place as it healed. During the same appointment, Gulliver was neutered. He needs repeat x-rays in the coming weeks to ensure his jaw is healing. Once fully healed, he will likely need another surgery to remove a few broken teeth.
Gulliver is now recovering in foster care, where he can comfortably recuperate. He’s receiving regular pain medication, soft meals, and plenty of love. While his jaw is still on the mend, he can’t quite close it all the way yet, which makes him a little adorably drooly—just part of his charm. He thrives on closeness and affection, rubbing against his people and purring as much as his jaw allows.
This loving boy has been through so much. Could you share your heart with Gulliver to help him get the comfortable, happy life he deserves?
Personal updates for Gulliver will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: X-rays, surgery, medications, neuter surgery, and daily care for Gulliver until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
