Medical Emergency Fund for Po

Imagine the fear for this senior kitty, struggling outdoors on his own with eyes in obvious pain—swollen, pink-red, and heavy with heavy discharge.

Po was rushed to a nearby vet immediately. His medical team determined that his eye condition had likely developed a long time ago, meaning he had been living with it for some time. Both of his eyes were swollen and painful, and his right eye had developed a large corneal ulcer. An appointment had been scheduled to remove the eye, but overnight, the ulcer erupted, and Po was rushed back to the vet for emergency surgery. His left eye is being treated with eye drops and will continue to be monitored closely. Thankfully, right now it has normal pressure, responds to light, and is not causing Po pain.

Despite everything, this sweet boy cries until someone holds and pets him. He loves being with people, and even amidst pain, his gentle, affectionate nature shines through.

Could you share your heart with this resilient senior feline to help him get the special care he needs to heal?

Personal updates for Po will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: Eye removal surgery, medications, and daily care for Po until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
