Medical Emergency Fund for Hank

Hank hobbled through our doors extremely overweight, a loveable boy in need of help.

Hank needs support shedding weight and addressing several health concerns. His medical team has put him on a special feeding plan to help him lose weight. He arrived limping from overgrown nails pressing into his paw pads and was sedated so his nails could be trimmed safely. Hank also suffers from ear infections that require medication, and he is missing teeth with chronic wear on his canines. He needs x-rays and oral surgery to remove worn teeth, as well as the removal of a mass on his armpit.

Despite his discomfort, Hank is an easy-going happy guy. His tail is always wagging, and he loves to greet his people with a toy. Now that his nails have been trimmed and he can trot around comfortably, he’s already becoming more active. Once he loses some weight, he’s going to be a rocket of energy and joy.
