Medical Emergency Fund for Voltaire

Voltaire’s story is as remarkable as his personality. When a kind rescuer found him wandering alone in a greenway, he was in shocking condition with missing fur and seemed to be struggling with ear and eye issues. Despite his condition, Voltaire’s super friendly and gentle nature shone through, capturing the heart of the caring person who rescued him.

When Voltaire arrived, he needed immediate medical attention. He was treated for painful eye and ear infections, both of which are being carefully managed and monitored by his caring foster family. Voltaire will also require a dental procedure and neuter to ensure his long-term health. As for the missing fur? It turns out Voltaire is a unique breed called a Lykoi, which sheds its hair two to three times a year. This explains his balding appearance. Thanks to the dedicated veterinary team, his prognosis is good, and he is on his way to recovery.

Voltaire’s playful and cuddly nature shines through despite his discomfort. His foster family is charmed by his funny personality and affectionate demeanor. Acting more like a dog than a cat, Voltaire loves to seek out cuddles and attention from his carers.

Will you share your kindness with this brave and loving boy to help him on his journey to recovery and a forever home?

Personal updates for Voltaire will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

Goal includes: overnight emergency hospital stay, neuter, dental, treatment for eye and ear infections, and daily care for Voltaire until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care are less than the amount raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
