Medical Emergency Fund for Roxy

When a concerned member of the public reported worries about a litter of puppies, our Animal Protection team went to check on them. Upon arrival, it was clear that the little puppies needed help—but their mom, Roxy, needed it even more.

The young Malinois mama had been living in pain for months, struggling with an old leg injury that had healed in the wrong position, making movement difficult and uncomfortable. After a careful examination by her medical team, they determined that Roxy needs an amputation surgery to remove the damaged leg so she can finally live pain-free. She will also need to be spayed.

Despite everything, Roxy has learned to live with the pain. Spend a few minutes with her, and you’d never know she’s struggling. She’s bright, happy, and obsessed with playing ball, running and playing while holding her injured leg up. She’s been an incredibly committed mom to her lively pups, but now her health and comfort must come first.

Will you share your kindness with her today? With surgery, care, and love, Roxy can finally live the comfortable life she deserves.

Personal updates for Roxy will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.

*Goal includes: Amputation surgery, medications, spay surgery and daily care for Roxy until she is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
