Medical Emergency Fund for BB
Senior Scottish Fold BB needs a fresh start!
BB came to us after her guardian was moving away and could not take her. Left in the hands of a roommate who was unable to find her a home, she was surrendered to the BC SPCA. At intake, BB was wheezing, likely from stress from all the recent change in her life. Her oral exam revealed tartar, gingivitis, tooth resorption, and redness at the back of her mouth, meaning she needs a surgery to clean her teeth and likely remove a few affected ones so she can live comfortably. BB also had brown debris on her ears and her rear end. Her ears were gently cleaned, and her glands were treated. BB has had bloodwork and further testing to ensure she’s healthy enough for surgery. On top of all that, she required additional medication and care after several days of not pooping.
Despite everything, BB loves quiet affection and snuggles. She may hang back at first, but with patience, her loving personality shines through. Will you help this senior girl get the surgery and care she needs for a second chance at comfort and love?
Personal updates for BB will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.
*Goal includes: Oral surgery, bloodwork and testing, medications, spay surgery, and daily care for BB until she is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
