Medical Emergency Fund for Kali

When Kali arrived underweight, dehydrated, with a dirty and dull coat from time spent outdoors.

An exam of her mouth revealed broken, missing, and loose teeth, and her bloodwork showed signs of inflammation. She was also experiencing chronic tummy issues, and further testing revealed she has inflammatory bowel disease. Kali needs medication and a special diet to help get her healthy enough for a much-needed oral surgery.

Despite her discomfort, Kali is full of love and has won the hearts of everyone at the shelter. She loves to sit on a shoulder and ride around, chirping softly. Her small size and playful chirps often fool people into thinking she’s still a kitten, but she’s a wise, loving senior.
