Medical Emergency Fund for Jagger

When a kind passerby noticed little paw prints in the snow next to their vehicle, they looked under the hood and discovered little injured Jagger!

It’s a miracle that the kitten was found before the truck was started. His rescuer carefully pulled him from the engine and rushed him to the nearest BC SPCA. When Jagger arrived, it was clear he needed medical attention, and was taken to a vet right away. X-rays revealed an old fracture in his leg that needed surgical repair. After his surgery, he required round-the-clock care at the clinic. On top of that, Jagger also needs mite treatment, vaccines, and a neuter surgery to get fully healthy.

Despite being found all alone, cold and in pain, Jagger is exceptionally friendly and outgoing. This social butterfly seems to be making up for lost time, befriending anyone who gives him attention. He’s a big foodie, and his joy shines through every time it’s meal or treat time.

Could you share your heart with Jagger to help him get all the surgery and care he needs to recover?

Personal updates for Jagger will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: Blood work, x-rays, surgical leg repair, round-the-clock hospital care, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Jaggery until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
