Medical Emergency Fund for Ruff

This young shepherd mix was struck by a vehicle, leaving him with a serious injury. The pain he endured is unimaginable.

Thankfully, Ruff was brought to safety. Under the care of his dedicated medical team, x-rays revealed a severe break in his front leg. The pup needed an emergency surgery to remove the broken leg to give him the best chance at a comfortable life. He was also neutered at the same time. Now, with the help of pain medication, Ruff’s body is on the mend.

Even while in pain and discomfort, Ruff is a sweet and loving boy who just wants to snuggle. He rests his head in his caregiver’s laps and gently nudges them for more pets. On walks, he gets distracted leaning into his people, asking for ear scratches.
