Medical Emergency Fund for Peanut

Sweet little Peanut needs a lot of loving care to heal. This eleven-year-old senior Yorkshire Terrier was brought to us with major hair loss, itchy skin, and a painful mouth.

Once under the care of his medical team, they prescribed medicated baths to help repair his skin. With his teeth in poor condition and causing chronic inflammation, Peanut needed surgery to ease his pain. Bloodwork was done to ensure he was healthy enough for a neuter and oral surgery. Now on pain medication and soft food as he heals, Peanut is being an excellent patient.

Although he’s recovering from surgery, this little man has already blossomed into a social butterfly in his foster home. Peanut loves playing with the other dogs and has been wonderful with the kids in the home. He’s a perfect gentleman for his medicated baths, and truly seems grateful for the loving care he receives.
