Medical Emergency Fund for Mia

When Mia became lethargic, refused her food and water, and began convulsing, it was clear something was terribly wrong.

Thankfully, she was rushed to the vet in time. Once under the care of her medical team, x-rays revealed a dangerous intestinal blockage. Mia needed emergency, life-saving surgery right away. What was first thought to be tinsel turned out to be a steel scrubbing pad, causing severe internal distress. The days following surgery were touch and go, but now, just a few days later, Mia is eating small meals on her own, and slowly regaining her strength.

This sweet girl has been through an incredibly frightening ordeal, yet she continues to show her gentle spirit by kneading biscuits for her caretakers and purring through her recovery.
