Medical Emergency Fund for Noir

Noir’s life changed in an instant when he was struck by a vehicle. Thankfully, kind witness saw what happened and immediately called for help.

When assistance arrived, the poor boy was in shock and unable to move his back end, and he was rushed to a nearby animal hospital. X-rays revealed a fractured pelvis and bruised lungs. He was stabilized with oxygen and pain medication while his medical team closely monitored his breathing and mobility. After several days of round-the-clock care at the hospital, he slowly showed encouraging signs—he was able to move his back legs and breathe more comfortably. Once stable, Noir was placed in a foster home to continue his recovery, with strict rest and ongoing medications, and follow-up x-rays scheduled to ensure his pelvis is healing properly. When he’s fully healed, Noir will also be neutered.

Through it all, Noir has been a purring bundle of love, soaking up all the gentle cuddles he can. He is such a loving cat and will happily curl up on a warm lap for hours, which helps make his strict rest much more manageable.
