Medical Emergency Fund for Oat
Discovered injured and alone near a landfill, Oat must have been so frightened. It’s a miracle that a caring member of the community spotted the tiny black kitten and rushed him to safety.
The 9-week-old feline arrived with a wound under his chin, dandruff, and a painfully broken leg. Once under the care of his medical team, they found that his poor leg had been broken in two places, and dislocated. Yet, even in pain, Oat greeted his caregivers with friendliness and trust. Because he’s so small, Oat’s medical team is giving him time to gain weight before his surgery to remove the damaged leg.
For now, he’s safe and comfortable in a loving foster home, receiving pain management and plenty of TLC. Could you share your caring heart with Oat today to help him get the surgery and special care he needs to heal?
Personal updates for Oat will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: Amputation surgery, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Oat until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this young kitten, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
