Shy and nervous, Baby needs your caring heart to heal.

Every bite caused Baby pain. She urgently needed an extensive oral surgery to remove damaged teeth that were making her suffer. In addition to her poor oral health, Baby is extremely nervous. She was started on anxiety medication and a specialized plan to help staff gain her trust. Now healing, she’s on a regime of pain medication and soft food.

Curious by nature, Baby can often be seen peeking around corners, waiting for her next treat-based training session. Despite her fear, Baby has been so patient while receiving her care, and every day she makes incredible progress.

And recently, Baby showed a whole new side of herself: the moment she met an affectionate kitten, she came right to the front of her kennel, rubbing against her hiding box and instantly relaxing. It’s clear that this sweet girl has so much love to give…especially to other cats.
