Dollar had been passed from home to home, but her pain followed her wherever she went. Suffering from a large bladder stone, she was in constant discomfort, urinating blood, and unable to find relief.

Her most recent guardian hadn’t been told about her medical condition, and, unable to provide the care she needed, made the difficult decision to surrender her so she could receive the care she had been missing for so long. Bloodwork, X-rays, and exams confirmed the diagnosis, and soon, Dollar underwent surgery to remove the stone. Her journey isn’t over—she still needs specialized care, time to heal, and eventually, a loving family who she can depend on.
