Medical Emergency Fund for Nala

This gentle senior had been suffering in silence for months, struggling with bladder stones that wouldn’t go away. Her loving guardians did their best to help, trying a special diet to manage her condition—but when it became clear that she needed more intensive care than they could provide, they made the difficult decision to surrender her so she could get the treatment she desperately needed.

The day after Nala was surrendered to us, she underwent urgent surgery to remove three painful stones and provide her with much needed relief. With pain medication, antibiotics, and a special veterinary diet to keep new stones from forming, Nala is beginning to feel like herself again.

While she doesn’t love wearing the cone that keeps her from licking her incision, there is something she has been enjoying—the extra love and attention from staff and volunteers. A kind touch is all it takes for Nala to warm up and start purring. Will you help this loving senior girl live out her golden years in comfort?

Personal updates for Nala will be provided to anyone who donates towards her care.

*Goal includes: Surgery, medications and daily care for Nala until he is ready for adoption. If funds raised go above and beyond the needs of this precious senior, your kind gift will help the next animal who needs urgent medical care.
