Medical Emergency Fund for Magnus

On a cold, dark night, Magnus was struck by a speeding truck, leaving him with shocking injuries. As he cried out in agony, he slowly dragged himself to safety under a parked car close by.

Thankfully, a local resident and compassionate animal lover saw everything. Determined to help, she rallied her neighbours, carefully moved vehicles, and gently scooped up Magnus’s injured body. He was barely holding on, but this little fighter made it to emergency care just in time.

At the hospital, Magnus arrived with a shattered back leg, internal injuries, and a dangerously low body temperature from being out in the cold. His medical team acted fast, easing his pain, carefully warming his frail body, and stabilizing his breathing. He remained under round-the-clock care overnight, closely monitored due to the severity of his injuries. The team knew he would need weeks of treatment, including major surgery to repair his crushed leg.

Now post-surgery, Magnus faces a long road to recovery. He needs ongoing pain medication, weekly bandage changes, and special care from his foster family to heal fully. Even after everything he’s been through, Magnus remains full of love for the humans around him. The moment someone reaches out to pet him, the purr machine roars into action!  Before his big surgery, he wouldn’t stop kneading his tiny paws in gratitude; a message of thanks that said more than words. This little one is a true survivor, but he can’t do this alone. Now you can be a part of Magnus’s rescue, by helping provide the urgent medical treatments he needs.
