Medical Emergency Fund for Jennie
Jennie’s world changed in an instant. At 14 years old, this devoted Jack Russell Terrier suddenly found herself without her loving family. When her guardian’s health declined, they could no longer care for Jennie and turned to the BC SPCA for help.
Now in care, Jennie is facing serious medical challenges of her own. She suffers from painful oral disease, requiring urgent surgery to remove old, damaged teeth. But as a senior dog, she needs extensive testing—including bloodwork and imaging—to ensure she’s strong enough for the procedure. She also has a growth on her face that needs to be removed and tested, and she requires a specialized diet to keep her tummy comfortable.
Losing her family was heartbreaking, but Jennie’s lively spirit still shines. Now in a loving foster home, she has quickly adapted to life with other dogs and cats. In the past, she struggled with separation anxiety, but the company of her furry friends has helped her feel safe and secure. Will you help Jennie get the care she needs to heal and start fresh?
Personal updates for Jennie will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: Blood tests, urinalysis, oral surgery, ultrasound, biopsy, medications and daily care for Jennie until she is ready for adoption. If funds raised go above and beyond the needs of Jennie, your kind gift will help the next animal who needs urgent medical care.
