Medical Emergency Fund for Nymph
Found running along a highway with devastating injuries, Nymph was in desperate need of help. Thankfully, a group of kind hearted people came together rescue her.
When she arrived at the BC SPCA, it was clear this young kitten had been through the unimaginable. Nymph had suffered severe facial trauma, broken teeth, a damaged tail, and was painfully thin and underweight. Her fur was crawling with fleas, and the skin on her jaw had been partially torn away. Her veterinary team quickly got to work, performing diagnostic testing and taking x-rays to understand the full extent of her injuries.
Nymph’s road to recovery isn’t an easy one. She needed a full tail amputation, surgery to remove broken teeth, and once she’s gained her strength she will be spayed. She also suffered an eye injury, but thankfully there is no permanent damage.
It’s been incredible to watch Nymph on her journey. Despite everything she’s endured, she remains one of the sweetest kittens imaginable. Full of playful energy and endless personality, she approaches every treatment and exam with remarkable patience and trust. Day after day, Nymph shows just how resilient she is, rewarding her caregivers with purrs and gentle headbutts. With your compassion and care, Nymph’s heartbreaking beginning can lead to a bright future.
Personal updates for Nymph will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.
*Goal includes: Tail amputation, x-rays, testing, medications, oral surgery, spay surgery and daily care for Nymph until she is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
