Medical Emergency Fund for Miss Kitty
Miss Kitty’s cries for help led kind strangers to a heartbreaking discovery.
The young cat had become trapped in a rat trap and was desperately trying to free herself. Thankfully, her kind rescuers heard her cries, gently released her, and brought her to safety. Terrified and in excruciating pain, Miss Kitty was found to have a severe fracture involving both bones in her front leg. She needed emergency veterinary care, including x-rays, pain management, antibiotics, and ultimately an amputation to give her the best chance at a comfortable, pain-free future.
Miss Kitty has been through a lot, and understandably, she’s frightened. Even while afraid and hurting, she’s shown incredible trust and resilience, allowing staff to carefully handle and comfort her, while accepting gentle pets and affection. She especially loves treat time and is slowly learning that people can be a source of kindness and safety. Could you open your heart to Miss Kitty and help her continue healing?
