Medical Emergency Fund for Wisteria & Mahogany

These best friends arrived terrified, matted, and desperately in need of medical care.

Wisteria and Mahogany came into care with severe matting that required full body shaves, along with a long list of medical concerns. Wisteria is battling a stubborn upper respiratory infection and painful ear infection, while also needing tests for an abnormal eye condition. Mahogany required emergency care after developing a dangerous bowel blockage. Staff carefully monitored his litterbox habits and recognized the warning signs when he stopped having bowel movements and began vomiting. He needed an emergency enema, additional testing, and monitoring for a possible urinary issue.

At first, both cats were frightened and stressed, but with patience, gentle care, and medication, they’ve completely transformed. Wisteria now loves being picked up and petted, while Mahogany rolls around happily and pushes into your hands for affection.

Through it all, they’ve remained deeply bonded—grooming, cuddling, chatting, and chirping to each other constantly. Their friendship has helped them heal, and now they just need your kindness to keep healing and moving forward.

Personal updates for Wisteria and Mahogany will be provided to anyone who donates to their care.

*Goal includes: Emergency care, medications, testing, spay/neuter surgeries and daily care for Wisteria and Mahogany until they are ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of these felines, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
