Medical Emergency Fund for Asher

Hanging around his kind rescuer’s property for months, Asher cried out for help.

He came into BC SPCA care in rough shape—dehydrated, with scabs and scratches across his nose, big cheeks, and body, and all four of his canine teeth broken. He was also wheezy and had worms, showing just how long he had been struggling on his own. At the vet, Asher was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. He’s now on antibiotics and receiving treatment for worms. He also started pain control to keep his mouth comfortable leading up to a much needed oral surgery to remove broken teeth and clean the remaining. While in for his oral procedure, Asher was also neutered.

This chill, affectionate boy is deeply loving. Shelter and kennel life can frustrate him, so he is now in a foster home, where he can stay happy and focus on his recovery. With your help, Asher can finally receive all the loving care and comfort he deserves.
