Medical Emergency Fund for Nola

Life hasn’t been easy for this 5-month-old puppy. She has spent her short life outdoors, struggling and in pain with a broken leg that never received treatment.

Now safe in BC SPCA care, Nola needs to have her damaged leg amputated so that she can live a comfortable life. In addition to the leg removal, Nola will be spayed and have a hernia repaired. Following her surgery, this precious girl will need medication, rest, and plenty of love and attention as she heals.

Even after everything she’s been through, Nola has been nothing but a tender, affectionate puppy, seeking out gentle attention. While initially hesitant indoors, once she settles quietly, she seems to realize she’s finally safe. If you’re able, please share your love with Nola to help her heal!

Personal updates for Nola will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.

*Goal includes: Amputation surgery, medications, spay surgery, hernia repair and daily care for Nola until she is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this animal, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
