Medical Emergency Fund for Misha

This ragdoll mama had just given birth when things went terribly wrong. Misha was rushed to an emergency vet to fight for her life.

Misha had a life-threatening infection inside of her. While three of her kittens survived, sadly, one was stuck inside and could not be saved. Misha underwent an emergency c-section surgery to remove the remaining kitten as well as her uterus and ovaries. A drain was placed to help her heal, and this she stayed at the animal hospital under 24/7 monitoring, medication and IV fluids. After nearly a week had passed, the drain could finally be removed, and Misha was moved into a foster home for more careful attention.

Sweet Misha still has weeks of healing ahead, but through it all, she has been an absolute angel. She has been through so much yet has never made a fuss.
