Medical Emergency Fund for Doug

Young Doug was found all alone, a sweet stray pup in urgent need of help.

As soon as he came into care, staff quickly noticed swelling in his leg. He was brought to an animal hospital for a careful examination. X-rays revealed his leg injury was actually an old one, surgically repaired with a pin and plate that had now become infected, causing Doug discomfort. He needs surgery to remove the hardware, and he’ll be neutered at the same time. In the meantime, Doug is on antibiotics to help clear the infection and make him more comfortable.
