Medical Emergency Fund for Jerry

Jerry came to us in rough shape, suffering from a painful abscess on his leg and covered in fleas.

The young cat was rushed to an animal hospital where his wound was drained and flushed, and he was started on medications. Despite the treatment, the leg failed to heal and continued to cause him significant pain. The best chance for Jerry to live a comfortable life was amputation. His surgery went well, but his journey isn’t over yet — he’s now battling an infection at the surgical site and needs ongoing antibiotics and pain medication as his body heals.

Now resting in foster care, Jerry is receiving the attentive care he needs. He’s an affectionate fella who loves curling up for snuggles on a warm lap, especially when they come with a good brushing. Even on his hardest days, Jerry is always grateful for love and comfort from his people. Could you share your heart with this loving kitty to help him on his road to recovery?

Personal updates for Jerry will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: Amputation surgery, neuter, medications, and daily care for Jerry until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this sweet cat, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
