Medical Emergency Fund for Helix

Hit by a car, Helix now faces a long road to recovery.

The collision left this young dog with three fractures in his back leg, as well as broken teeth. His medical team is hopeful that his leg can heal with splints and careful rest. Helix will need repeat x-rays to monitor his progress, along with medications to keep him comfortable. Once his leg has healed, he will undergo oral surgery to remove the damaged teeth and be neutered.

Despite his injuries, Helix is a wiggly boy who loves his people once he gets past his initial shyness. Kennel rest is no easy task for a young dog, but with the help of love and reassurance, Helix is learning to take it easy, resting and enjoying short walks as he heals.
