Tinkerbell arrived masking her pain remarkably well. She was eager for affection, rubbing against staff, clearly relieved to finally be safe and warm. A slight limp in her step caught the team’s attention, and she was sent to the vet for x-rays. They revealed an old fracture in her hip! To give Tinkerbell the comfortable life she deserves, she needs a special surgery. Until then, she’s on medications to help keep her as comfortable as possible.

Tinkerbell is incredibly easy-going and friendly, always ready for affection and constantly looking for someone to love. The second someone walks by her kennel she’s batting at her kennel door for attention. She will need weeks of kennel rest after her procedure, but with loving company by her side, she’s going to do just fine.
