Medical Emergency Fund for Snowball
When Snowball was being repeatedly attacked by other cats in his home, it became clear this gentle boy needed a change. Already dealing with painful medical issues, he needed both urgent care and a calm place to heal.
Once under the care of his dedicated medical team, they found Snowball suffers from severe lower eyelid entropion, a condition where the eyelid rolls inward and rubs against the surface of the eye, causing constant irritation and damage. This painful condition has already led to a corneal ulcer. On top of this, Snowball’s upper canine teeth are unusually long and were piercing into his lower lip, creating painful puncture wounds. To relieve his discomfort, Snowball underwent an eyelid correction surgery and oral surgery to remove the problematic teeth. He’s now healing from his procedures and continues to receive daily eye drops and medications to keep him comfortable.
Despite all of this, Snowball is an absolute lovebug. He never stops purring and takes every treatment in stride. He gently accepts his eye drops and medications, climbs right into the lap of his caregiver for cuddles and eagerly seeks affection. With your kindness, Snowball can continue to heal in comfort and finally enjoy life without pain.
Personal updates for Snowball will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: Eyelid surgery, oral surgery, medications, neuter surgery, and daily care for Snowball until he is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this loving cat, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
