Medical Emergency Fund for Daisy
In a quick moment, Daisy’s tiny leg was fractured, and she could no longer stand without crying out in pain.
Thankfully, the 3-month-old kitten was brought in for the urgent attention she needed. Daisy was rushed to an emergency hospital where x-rays confirmed her leg had been fractured. To keep the sweet girl comfortable, Daisy was started on pain medication right away. Her medical team determined her leg could be saved with a specialized surgery. Daisy’s healing has had some ups and downs. While waiting for her surgery, she wasn’t gaining weight the way a kitten her age should, so she was brought back in for an additional exam to make sure she stayed safely on track.
Now recovering from her big procedure, Daisy is soaking up love in her foster home, and growing stronger every day. She’s incredibly friendly, always begging for affection, and spends her quiet moments curled up in blankets, purring herself to sleep.
She still has a recheck appointment coming up to ensure her leg is healing well, along with her spay surgery—one last step in her medical journey. With your kindness, Daisy can get the surgery, comfort, and care she needs to thrive.
Personal updates for Daisy will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.
*Goal includes: Leg repair surgery, x-rays, medications, spay surgery, and daily care for Daisy until she is ready for adoption. If the funds raised goes beyond the needs of this kitten, your kindness will carry forward to help the next animal in urgent need of life-saving medical care.
