Medical Emergency Fund for Hank

Hank hobbled through our doors with a badly broken leg, doing his best to be brave. The young pup was hurting, skinny, and desperately in need of medical attention.

Once under the care of his dedicated veterinary team, they determined Hank’s broken leg could be saved with surgery! With pain medications keeping him comfortable, he patiently waited for his big procedure. Now recovering, Hank faces weeks of strict rest. No running, no jumping, no playful zoomies — a tough challenge for a 6-month-old pup with a heart full of joy. But these limitations will ensure his leg heals properly, giving him the chance to enjoy a long, active, pain-free life ahead. Once his leg has healed, he’ll return for another important step in his care: his neuter surgery.

Even through the discomfort, Hank has remained a bundle of sweetness. He greets his caregivers with soft tail wags and leans in for affection. With patience, care, and a little holiday kindness, this sweet boy will soon be racing into the new year ready for the joyful life he deserves.
